The Deye SUN-16K-SG01LP1-EU is a high-capacity single-phase hybrid inverter engineered for properties requiring substantial solar generation, battery storage and backup-power capability. High-Current Low-Voltage Battery Support
The inverter operates with compatible 40-60V battery banks and supports both lithium-ion and lead-acid battery technologies. Its maximum charging and discharging current of 290A allows it to work with appropriately sized high-capacity battery storage systems.
Communication with compatible lithium battery management systems is available through CAN or RS485. The inverter automatically adapts its lithium charging strategy according to information received from the compatible battery BMS.
Flexible Hybrid Energy Management
Both DC coupling and AC coupling are supported, allowing the inverter to be used in a new hybrid solar installation or incorporated into a properly designed system with existing compatible solar equipment.
Six configurable charging and discharging time periods allow stored energy to be managed around electricity tariffs, solar availability and anticipated load requirements. The system can also store energy supplied by a compatible diesel generator when configured by a qualified installer.
Scalable Parallel Operation
Up to 16 compatible inverter units can be connected in parallel for approved on-grid and off-grid applications. Parallel system design, communication, protection and commissioning must be completed according to Deye requirements.
