8kW SigenStor Fully Installed Solar System with 18kWh Battery Storage and 16 x 660W AIKO Panels
This fully installed SigenStor solar system combines an 8kW single-phase Sigen Energy Controller, two 9.04kWh SigenStor batteries, a compatible Sigen Energy Gateway and sixteen high-efficiency 660W AIKO N-Type ABC solar panels. The system provides 18.08kWh of total battery storage, 17.52kWh of usable battery energy and 10.56kWp of rated solar capacity.
The package includes the listed protection equipment, PV and AC cabling, connectors, earthing components, tile-roof mounting equipment, delivery, professional installation and a Certificate of Compliance for the installed solar components. It is designed for larger homes and suitable small businesses that require substantial solar production, intelligent battery storage and dependable backup power.
JC Solar Panels supplies Sigenergy components only as part of a fully installed solution. The system will be installed, configured and commissioned by an approved Sigenergy solar installer operating under JC Solar Panels.

The SigenStor EC 8.0 SP delivers 8,000W of nominal single-phase output and supports a maximum apparent output of 8,800VA. Its intelligent energy-management platform coordinates solar generation, battery charging, grid interaction and backup operation through the integrated SigenStor system.

Sigen Energy Gateway and Backup Operation
The included Sigen Energy Gateway Home SP 12K works with the Energy Controller and battery modules to manage the grid connection and backup supply. Sigenergy specifies zero-millisecond backup disruption under its stated test conditions when the required compatible SigenStor components are correctly installed and configured together.
The circuits supported during an outage depend on the site load, available solar generation, battery state of charge, configured reserve and final electrical design. High-consumption appliances and starting loads must be assessed before they are connected to the backed-up supply.

The mounting quantities are based on a standard sixteen-panel tile-roof layout. Final quantities and panel positioning depend on the roof dimensions, rafter spacing, roof condition, orientation, shading and wind exposure. The installer will confirm the final mounting design before installation.
Customers must specify whether the property has a tile, IBR, corrugated, Klip-Lok or another roof type. JC Solar Panels will adjust the mounting structure and quotation where the standard tile-roof components are unsuitable. A ground-mounted solar-panel array requires a separate structural design and quotation.
Professional Sigenergy Installation
The package includes professional installation of the listed inverter, battery modules, Gateway, solar panels, protection equipment, cabling, earthing and mounting components within the standard scope. The system will be configured, commissioned and tested by an approved Sigenergy solar installer operating under JC Solar Panels.
A Certificate of Compliance is included for the newly installed solar components and associated electrical work, subject to the completed installation meeting the applicable compliance requirements.
Standard Installation Scope
The standard installation applies to a suitable single-storey building with reasonable access, an acceptable roof structure, standard cable routes and an electrical installation capable of accommodating the new solar system without extensive alterations.
Multiple-storey buildings, difficult roof access, structural or roof repairs, civil work, trenching, scaffolding, specialised lifting equipment, unusually long cable routes, distribution-board replacements, utility upgrades and electrical repairs outside the stated solar installation scope are excluded and require a customised quotation.
Installation Areas
Installation is available in Johannesburg, Pretoria, the Western Cape, Rustenburg, Bloemfontein and Durban, subject to installer availability and site confirmation. Customers in other areas can request a formal quotation covering delivery, travelling and installation.
Site Verification and Custom Quotations
Final system suitability depends on the property’s electrical supply, peak load, daily energy consumption, backup requirements, distribution board, roof structure, roof orientation, shading and cable routes. Customers should provide their installation address, roof type, electricity usage and essential-load requirements so JC Solar Panels can confirm the package or prepare a customised solution.
